Thomson Reuters has named Lenovo a 2018 Top 100 Global Tech Leader. To compile the list, Thomson Reuters assessed over 5,000 technology companies from around the world on eight principle pillars of performance: Financial, Management and Investor Confidence, Risk and Resilience, Legal Compliance, Innovation, People and Social Responsibility, Environmental Impact, and Reputation. The inaugural list identifies the tech industry’s most operationally sound and financially successful organizations.

Twenty-eight data points were analyzed and Lenovo ranked particularly high relative to other technology companies in the areas of innovation, environmental impact and corporate social responsibility. “With the Top 100 Global Tech Leaders, we’ve identified the unique data points that embody technology industry leadership in the 21st century,” according to Alex Paladino, global managing director of the Thomson Reuters Technology Practice Group.

This recognition builds upon Lenovo’s recent inclusion in the Forbes' Top Regarded Companies List and the 2017 Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index. In addition, Lenovo has consistently received high marks on climate change mitigation.
