Lenovo Device Intelligence for Education
Lenovo Device Intelligence (LDI) is now available for ChromeOS through a direct integration with the Google Admin Console. Staying on top of the health and maintenance of their fleets of Chromebooks can be a challenge for school IT teams, especially if budgets are constrained, staff is limited, and they have to manage entire districts. With large numbers of devices deployed, device failures can become a drag on device health, longevity and IT resources. Using predictive, AI-enabled technology, LDI gives IT teams the tools to predict and help prevent common Chromebook health and performance problems, at scale, designed to maximize uptime and lifespan.
Through a direct integration with the Google Admin Console, LDI offers a centralized dashboard where IT teams can access fleet-wide and device-level insights; monitoring health score and failures, applications affecting performance, battery levels, storage, and more to identify critical issues across a school’s fleet. LDI identifies current issues, failures that have already occurred, and those likely to result in the future. Whenever a potential area of concern is detected, the system alerts IT with insights and recommended remediations.
Lenovo Smart Charger
Lenovo now offers a Smart Charger for Chromebooks—a sleek, compact charging solution that redefines how institutional Chromebook users stay powered. Designed to charge up to five USB-C connected devices simultaneously while offering real-time battery monitoring, the charger outperforms bulky, outdated alternatives. Perfect for education IT administrators, the slim and efficient device is built to simplify charging needs.
