Lenovo Tells Story of Its #Goodweird Products in New Marketing Campaign

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – Sept. 30, 2015: Around the world, Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) is telling the story of its most recognizable consumer products – YOGA convertibles, tabletop PCs and tablets – in a new marketing campaign, dubbed #Goodweird. Appropriately named, #Goodweird illustrates how YOGA products embrace unexpected design and functionality – design that’s arguably weird, but in a good way because of the amazing things these products enable people to do.

Statement on Lenovo Statistical Data Collection

Statistical data collection by Lenovo has been the subject of press reports and social media discussion. Similar to other companies in the PC, smartphone and tablet industries and as disclosed in the End User License Agreement, Lenovo products collect non-personally identifiable statistical usage data that is not tracked to any single customer or device. This data helps Lenovo improve both existing and future products.

Lenovo Inspires Customer and Partner Co-creation with EMEA Enterprise Briefing Center

  • Lenovo President EMEA, Eric Cador, today officially open today the EMEA Enterprise Briefing Center located in Stuttgart.
  • The Lenovo EMEA Enterprise Briefing Center provides an interactive environment for discussions with customers and key industry partners.
  • Lenovo will help CERFACS meet their needs of numerical simulation, and has teamed up with Transtec to provide Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with a new cluster solution.
Stuttgart, Germany - September 22, 2015: Following the opening of Lenovo’s Global HPC (High Performance Computing) innovation Center in Stuttgart in March, Lenovo President EMEA, Eric Cador, officially opened the EMEA Enterprise Briefing Center (EBC) that demonstrates the commitment to its continuous transformation into a customer-centric focus.

Hong Kong, September 18, 2015 – Today, Lenovo announced the appointment of Gordon Orr as non-executive director. In nearly 30 years at McKinsey & Company (“McKinsey”), Mr. Orr advised a wide range of clients, with a primary focus on China and technology-related sectors across Asia. Mr. Orr retired as McKinsey’s Asia Chairman in August and currently also serves as an independent non-executive director of Swire Pacific Limited, a Hong Kong listed company.

Lenovo Donates 75,000 Back-To-School Essentials to Students in Need through Boys & Girls Clubs of America

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – September 9, 2015: To help support families of children going back to school, Lenovo employees participated in Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s (BGCA) school supply drive from August 5-21. Employees donated approximately 75,000 items, an increase from the record-breaking 50,000 items collected from the drive in 2014.
