Customer and Partner Demand Bring Hyperconvergence and Server Vendors Together

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. and WESTBOROUGH, M.A.— August 20, 2015 – Today, Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) and SimpliVity announced they will deliver hyperconverged infrastructure solutions based on their joint technologies. SimpliVity’s OmniStack data virtualization platform will now be available as an integrated solution with Lenovo System x3650 servers through Arrow Electronics. “Customers will benefit from SimpliVity’s new hyperconverged solution offerings, with Lenovo’s highly versatile enterprise servers as a foundation,” said Brian Hamel, vice president and general manager, Lenovo North America Enterprise Business Group. “These high-performance systems will exponentially reduce data center complexity and costs for cloud-based services and mission-critical transactional systems.”

“The partnership and joint solution is truly driven by customer demand in the market,” commented Doron Kempel, CEO of SimpliVity. “Businesses desire the flexibility and performance of the Lenovo systems and the superior data efficiency, mobility, built-in data protection and global unified management capabilities that only SimpliVity’s hyperconverged solutions deliver.”
