From uncertainty around GenAI, to unsuccessful return-to-office policies, to flexible working needs, organizations are facing unprecedented challenges as the working landscape rapidly evolves. The ISG Provider Lens™ – Future of Work Services is published each year to evaluate providers’ strengths, challenges, and differentiators in the modern workplace to help companies navigate choices along their digital transformation journey. In the recently released 2024 annual report, Lenovo United States was recognized as a Rising Star in the Managed End-user Technology Services category.

To be eligible, companies must provide support for the complete end user computing environment; support unified endpoint management (UEM), enterprise mobility management, application provisioning, and patch management; offer complete device lifecycle management services, device sourcing, and logistics; demonstrate experience in providing virtual desktop services on premises and on the cloud; offer related field services, and IMAC and break/fix services; and generate either 30 percent or more revenue from the midmarket or SMB market and/or have 30 percent or more digital workplace clients in the U.S. from the midmarket segment.

A Rising Star & Product Challenger in Managed End-user Technology Services

Out of the 29 companies evaluated in the U.S. for Managed Workplace Services – End-user Technology, Lenovo’s impressive digital workplace services revenue growth, device lifecycle management using TruScale Device as a Service, and its robust end-user computing managed services through its AI-enabled persona segmentation and support platform, Care of OneTM, earned it the lone Rising Star accolade.

The report highlighted Lenovo’s strategic investments in standalone digital workplace service deals focusing on specialized end-user technology and its aggressive goals to disrupt the market and lead the pack. Not only does Lenovo offer device lifecycle management for desktops and laptops, it extends this service to AR and VR devices, with a focus on sustainability and refurbished devices.

The Rising Star designation indicates ISG sees strong potential for Lenovo to move from Product Challenger into the Leader quadrant, based on its promising portfolio, market experience, roadmap, and focus on key market trends and customer requirements.

Customers can have peace of mind knowing Lenovo’s managed workplace services have been thoroughly reviewed and evaluated by a third party. The market has responded favorably to Lenovo’s digital workplace services, whose growth is leading in the sector. This recognition also validates Lenovo’s ability to leverage AI for personalized support with Care of One and TruScale DaaS for sustainable device lifecycle management.

“With its focused services, targeted market approach, strong growth and AI-enabled support services, Lenovo is rapidly emerging as a Rising Star in this market.”
