Lenovo appoints former McKinsey Asia Chairman Gordon Orr to board

Widely respected corporate advisor joins as Lenovo navigates new challenges in mobile and enterprise

Hong Kong, September 18, 2015 – Today, Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY) announced the appointment of Gordon Orr as non-executive director. In nearly 30 years at McKinsey & Company (“McKinsey”), Mr. Orr advised a wide range of clients, with a primary focus on China and technology-related sectors across Asia. I am delighted we succeeded in attracting him to our board.”

Mr. Orr’s appointment deepens Lenovo’s tradition of global balance and diversity at all levels of the company. Today, Lenovo’s board has 11 directors hailing from the U.S., China, the United Kingdom, and Japan, 7 nationalities among its top 12 executives, and its top 100 executives come from more than 20 different counties.
