The new Lenovo ThinkEdge SE455 V3 server simplifies AI at the edge and brings to market the most powerful edge server to support even the most intensive AI and workload consolidation capabilities while enabling significant cost savings from lower power consumption in a small, quiet with enhanced security. The server also supports telco subscribers with superior performance, leveraging up to 64 cores for efficient radio processing.
Leveraging the new server, customers can power advanced AI compute capabilities with the most GPU dense platform in an edge form factor that is smaller than traditional rack servers and helps achieve a lower total cost of ownership, with 50 percent more GPU capacity than previous generations. Equipped with a powerful edge-optimized processor, the new Lenovo ThinkEdge SE455 V3 delivers two times more storage options and 20 percent more PCI acceleration options than competitive edge servers, making it ideal for large AI workloads. Available with up to 64 energy-efficient ‘Zen 4c’ cores, it can deliver similar performance while consuming up to 32 percent less energy than comparable edge servers.
