As the Title Sponsor of the FORMULA 1 LENOVO GRANDE PRÊMIO DE SAO PAULO 2024 that will take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on November 3rd, Lenovo has unveiled the trophy that will be awarded to the top three drivers and the winning constructor.

Inspired by the country’s natural wealth, Lenovo is using smarter technology to create a trophy that symbolizes the magnificence of the world’s most biodiverse rainforest while reflecting the company’s commitment to innovation. “The trophy captures the vibrant landscapes of the Brazilian environment while celebrating the harmonious coexistence of nature and technology” says Philip Marchington, Executive Creative Director of Corporate Marketing at Lenovo.

 The circular form is inspired by the blue element of the Brazilian flag, representing the sky and rivers, while the green details, featuring intricate engravings of native flora, capture the vital energy of the lush Brazilian vegetation.

Designed in partnership with renowned design firm, Pininfarina, the trophy blends tradition and modernity. The trophy also pays tribute to the ancient Olympic champions, and F1® drivers from the 1980s, who were crowned with laurel wreaths to symbolize victory. Finally, a proximity sensor activates the trophy’s light pattern that mimics the falling rain when the winning driver lifts it or when it’s placed around the driver’s neck.
