Select Lenovo PCs to be First Devices Sold With AT&T’s 24/7 Remote IT Support Service

DALLAS and RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – December 3, 2009: For small and midsize businesses, every minute of downtime could mean lost revenue, customers and/or market share. To provide more uptime for these businesses, AT&T* and Lenovo are announcing today the bundling of AT&T Tech Support 360(SM) with select Lenovo PCs.

With this bundle, small and midsize businesses can now get industry-leading devices and access to live, 24/7 technical support with a single purchase. These businesses can now purchase Lenovo ThinkPad SL510 and T400 laptops and ThinkCentre A58 small form factor desktops, the first devices to be bundled with AT&T Tech Support 360, and save up to $200 through February 2010 when compared to purchasing the PC and service separately.

AT&T Tech Support 360 provides 24/7 online IT support, including assistance with wireless network setup, software installation and training, setup of security software and configuration of peripherals – including PDAs and printers.

In addition, AT&T Tech Support 360 technicians can provide training on Windows 7 to help small and midsize businesses get the most from PCs equipped with the new operating system. Lenovo has certified the PCs being bundled with AT&T Tech Support 360 under Lenovo’s Enhanced Experience program for Windows 7, allowing users to run Windows 7 to its full potential.

This bundle allows AT&T and Lenovo to offer small businesses the enhanced productivity of doing business while on the go, and, at the same time, gives them access to ongoing technical support on items like software training, wireless network setup and peripherals support. Coming after recent announcements regarding AT&T’s expanded offer of Tech Support 360 to midsized businesses and its planned inclusion of Intel® vPro(TM) technology, this announcement marks the first time that AT&T Tech Support 360 has been bundled with a computer purchase.

“The ability to reliably and knowledgeably use computers and software is becoming increasingly important for small and midsize businesses to remain competitive,” said Ebrahim Keshavarz, vice president, Business Development for AT&T. “Our goal is to help these businesses take advantage of the latest technology – as well as provide support, training, and troubleshooting for these solutions – so they can focus on growing their business.”

“Think PCs are built for business, and for today’s SMB customer, we’ve equipped our Think PCs with the right blend of blazing-fast performance, valuable multimedia and wireless connectivity features and affordability to fit any budget,” said Stephen DiFranco, vice president, Channel Partners Organization for North America, Lenovo. “Packaging Lenovo PC hardware and services from AT&T into one IT solution helps get businesses up and running quickly and staying productive around the clock.”

A one-year prepaid subscription on AT&T Tech Support 360 and Lenovo PCs can be purchased through PC Mall at www.pcmall.com/tech360 or by calling PC Mall at 877-303-MALL (6255). The AT&T Tech Support 360 CD-ROM will be included in the box with the computer and customers can activate their service using an order number given to them from PC Mall.
