RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – March 7, 2013: The votes are in! Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY), today announced the winner of the first-ever Lenovo Fantasy Coach Season Pass Contest. Kimbra Hoehn of Nashville, Tenn. has embarked on an NFL fan’s journey of a lifetime as the winner of the Fantasy Coach Season Pass.

Lenovo teamed up with Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte and Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III in December in search of the ultimate Fantasy Football coach.

“The contest was about creativity, humor and love of the game,” said Kevin Berman, director North America Advertising & Marketing Services, Lenovo. “All of the entries were great – it’s amazing what extreme measures some would take for the sake of their fantasy teams. Kimbra answered our call for the most unique, and hilarious, fantasy football coaching strategies. The public voted her the finalist of the coveted prize because of her passion, creativity and wit.”

“I always hear about those people who enter sweepstakes and win big. The only thing I’ve ever won in my life is $25!” said Kimbra upon learning of her victory. “This is just too good to be true!”

Starting last month at the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine and continuing through Super Bowl XLVIII in February 2014, Kimbra’s Fantasy Coach Season Pass includes trips for two to all of these marquee NFL events:

  • 2013 NFL Scouting Combine
  • 2013 NFL Draft
  • Training Camp Visit with her home team
  • 2013 NFL Fantasy Draft Week – the ultimate Fantasy Football draft event
  • Tickets to all home games of her favorite team
  • 2014 Pro Bowl – an inclusive trip for 2, including 2 tickets, airfare & hotel
  • Super Bowl XLVIII – an inclusive trip for 2 to New York and New Jersey to see The Big Game

And to top it off, Kimbra received a Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 to capture all the highlights of her NFL adventures.

As the winner, Kimbra recently attended her first event, the 2013 NFL Scouting Combine and expressed her excitement: “It was surreal.  Winning the contest hadn’t really sunk in yet. You’re used to only seeing these players on TV, so to see them in person was awesome.”

Kimbra attended the University of Tennessee in her hometown of Knoxville her freshman year, and is a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University. A former athlete herself, Kimbra has always had a passion for sports, especially football.

“I’m a diehard Vols fan,” she says of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. “And I fell in love with the Redskins – especially RG III – during an internship in Washington, D.C.”

“I’m beyond excited to start this NFL experience as the players begin their preparations for 2013 and follow them throughout the season.”
