Dobrodziej steps into the role following the tenure of Francois Bornibus, who has led Lenovo’s EMEA business since 2017. Francois has been instrumental in establishing Lenovo as a trusted, leading technology provider across the EMEA region. He will remain with Lenovo in the short term to ensure a seamless transition and support Matt’s onboarding. Lenovo extends its gratitude to Francois for his service, where he laid strong foundations for future growth – establishing its move beyond PC and into services and solutions, building its infrastructure business and driving rapid growth in mobile, whilst cementing the EMEA PC business’ leadership as #1 by market share, for more than two years.

As President of Lenovo EMEA, Dobrodziej will spearhead efforts to further elevate Lenovo’s presence and impact across the region, leveraging Lenovo’s globally leading portfolio of products, services, and solutions to meet the unique needs of diverse EMEA markets and customers.

“We are thrilled to welcome Matt to Lenovo and excited about the vision he brings to our EMEA business,” said Matt Zielinski, EVP & President, International Markets, Lenovo. “Matt’s extensive experience leading global teams, combined with his strategic insight, will help drive Lenovo’s transformation beyond hardware to a comprehensive solutions, services, and sales organization. I’m confident he will continue Francois’ exceptional work in leading EMEA into a new era of growth and innovation.”

“Lenovo is at the forefront of a rapidly evolving technology landscape, and I’m honored to join at such a pivotal time for both the company and the industry,” said Matt Dobrodziej, SVP and President, EMEA. “The transformative potential of AI offers unprecedented opportunities to reshape business and society, and Lenovo is uniquely positioned to lead in this space. I look forward to connecting with our EMEA customers and partners as we advance Lenovo’s commitment to Smarter Technology for All across the region.”
