Handcrafted masterpiece made of silver, gold, carbon fiber and natural diamond symbolizes the illustrious career of the renowned Brazilian racing driver
São Paulo, October 30, 2024 – Lenovo, a global technology powerhouse, presents a special tribute to legendary Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna, celebrating the 30-year milestone of his legacy in 2024.
Ayrton Senna is regarded as a national hero in Brazil, not only for his professional performance in Formula 1®, but for his dream of making Brazil a country where everyone knows victory and has more opportunities, especially through education. As he always stated, “children are the future; if we want to change something, we have to start with the children, through their education”. Led by his sister, Viviane Senna, the family founded Instituto Ayrton Senna in his memory to continue his vision and transform the country through education.
Since 2019, Lenovo has partnered with Instituto Ayrton Senna to support access to quality education in Brazil. Lenovo allocates part of the proceeds from the sale of devices from the Ideapad, Legion, Yoga and Lenovo 100e and 300e lines to educational initiatives in more than 3,000 Brazilian municipalities. Through this partnership, Lenovo has already invested more than US$3.2 million to boost access to quality education, which reaches children and young people and trains educators throughout the country.

Crafted with the precision and elegance that symbolize his career, the tribute is a unique, handcrafted piece created in collaboration with renowned designers Stefano Zuech and Federico Fondacci, inspired by the classic reference to the letter “S for Senna.”
The piece evokes the fluidity and precision of Senna’s driving style, crafted from silver, gold and carbon fiber, as well as a natural brilliant-cut diamond, symbolizing the eternity of his legacy, preserved by motorsport fans around the world. The work also references the image of the driver watching his friend Rubens Barrichello crash at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, a scene described by Zuech and Fondacci as “a man ‘alone’ who already knew the fate he could not escape.”
Luca Rossi and Ricardo Bloj presented the tribute to Viviane Senna at the Gala Dinner held on 30th October, honoring the memory of Ayrton Senna and the Institute’s 30 years of impact in Brazil. The event was held alongside Lenovo’s Tech World Brazil event and the FORMULA 1 LENOVO GRANDE PRÊMIO DE SÃO PAULO 2024.
