Lenovo, the global technology powerhouse, today announced its participation in the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative initiative (JCDC). Recognizing that no one entity can secure cyberspace alone, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) established JCDC to bring together public and private organizations and unify cyber defenders from organizations worldwide to tackle pressing cybersecurity issues.
“At Lenovo, we are dedicated to supporting the missions of CISA and JCDC to help unify cyber defenders from government and global technology to address threats to U.S. critical infrastructure,” said Doug Fisher, SVP & Chief Security and AI Officer, Lenovo. “In order to effectively combat cyber threats, collaboration between government and industry is essential. We are eager to contribute to this initiative and build additional relationships across CISA and the federal government to bolster the collective defense of cyberspace.”
Lenovo’s best-in-class security by design commitments and programs ensure the company provides secure infrastructure, products and services, supply chain, and physical security while meeting or exceeding industry standards. This includes Lenovo’s Security Development Lifecycle, Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT), manufacturing and global supply chain security, privacy and data protection programs, a trusted supplier program, and an extensive security ecosystem of partners and industry standards groups.
In addition to supporting the JCDC, Lenovo was one of the first companies to commit to CISA’s ‘Secure by Design’ pledge earlier this year. Lenovo’s Security First Culture, Policies, and Standards underpin its commitments to infrastructure, products and services, supply chain, and physical security.
