MORRISVILLE – January 22, 2019 – Lenovo has been recognized in FlexJobs’ annual list of the Top 100 Companies to Watch for Remote Jobs in 2019  globally. Lenovo ranked #89 on the list.

This list is based on an analysis of more than 51,000 companies’ remote job posting histories in the FlexJobs database. FlexJobs used this information to identify the top 100 global companies with the highest number of remote job openings during 2018. To be considered, the jobs had to be remote-friendly, either allowing candidates to telecommute entirely or part of the time.

“In the US over 90 percent of Lenovo employees have access to flexible work arrangements and more than 90 percent of them take advantage of those benefits,” said Seth Smiley-Humphries, Director of Global Diversity for Lenovo. “Personally, I take advantage of flexible work arrangements every week by working from home or from a remote location. And I don’t think it impacts my careers, it connects me with others.”

Overall, the list represents more than 15 industries with companies headquartered across 11 different countries.

“As we saw in the latter part of 2018, we expect 2019 to continue to be a job seeker’s market where companies will need to offer flexible/remote benefits to remain competitive and attract and retain the best talent,” said Sara Sutton, founder and CEO of FlexJobs. “As this list demonstrates, companies of all sizes and across all industries can adopt work-from-home and flexible work policies to meet the changing demands of the workforce,” Sutton concluded.
