HONG KONG, July 15, 2010 – Lenovo Group today announced that it has been selected as a constituent stock of the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series – the first index of its kind to focus exclusively on Hong Kong and mainland China. This selection fully demonstrates that Lenovo’s efforts in creating sustainable business practices have been well recognised.
In view of the increasing international interest in sustainability investment and the call for companies in the region to promote sustainability, Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited (“Hang Seng Indexes”) has introduced The Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series, which will be launched on 26 July 2010. After a thorough review of the performance of listed companies in Hong Kong, Hang Seng Indexes has selected Lenovo as one of 30 charter companies listed in Hong Kong, that perform strongly according to corporate sustainability criteria, into the initial Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index and The Hang Seng (Mainland and HK) Corporate Sustainability Index. The index serves as a vital reference tool for the investment community and the general public as a benchmark for socially responsible investments.

The Corporate Sustainability Index Series comprises three indexes.
