RALEIGH, NC and HARRISBURG, PA, August 14, 2006 – Lenovo and D&H Distributing today announced that Lenovo’s new computing line for small and medium business customers will soon be available from D&H Distributing.

Lenovo and D&H have entered into an agreement where D&H will market Lenovo desktops and notebooks to its value-added reseller community. The agreement with D&H will help increase Lenovo’s presence with SMB customers by leveraging D&H’s long-held expertise in this space. The distributor’s customer base consists mostly of VARs who sell to small and medium sized businesses and its programs are tailored to help this profile succeed.

The Lenovo-branded products, particularly the new Lenovo 3000 V100 notebook and J100 desktop, offer SMB customers “worry-free” computing with features such as One-Button System Recovery, Performance Restoration, Automatic Updates for virus protection and Simple Network Connectivity and Management Software. Such all-in-one amenities make high-performance computing a reliable, robust and secure experience for small business owners, who are often in the market for new resources to help them grow their businesses.

D&H has an extensive track record of supporting SMB VARs, proactively developing new opportunities and working as a consultative partner to help them capitalize on emerging trends. The distributor pursues relationships with manufacturers that offer significant capabilities and benefits for the small and mid-sized companies these resellers serve, such as the Lenovo-branded computers.

D&H’s ongoing campaign to create a competitive edge for its SMB customers includes educational seminars and trade show events, informative marketing materials, and hands-on training sessions led by experts from both D&H and its partners. These efforts have yielded solid results for D&H in delivering new and powerful SMB solutions to this marketplace, making the company an attractive partner for Lenovo. To kick off their new relationship, the manufacturer will exhibit at D&H Distributing’s 16th annual New England Technology Trade Show in Boston on August 15.

“Lenovo has designed and built some terrific new products for SMB customers and we want to make sure we are reaching this market, which is served by thousands of solution providers and influencers,” said Stephen Mungall, vice president, channel and transaction sales strategy, Lenovo. “D&H has a successful history of supporting these SMB-focused VARs, and we are excited about partnering with D&H to bring Lenovo computing to small and medium business environments.”

“Lenovo-branded products are a great platform for the VAR community to offer its SMB customers. D&H and Lenovo share a customer-focused vision of how to do business,” said Michael Schwab, vice president of purchasing at D&H Distributing. “The product line’s worry-free attributes make perfect sense for our resellers, who have grown to appreciate that extra level of support and capability. Lenovo’s products will present our customers with a globally-recognized brand, complete with the appeal of an easy-sell set of features.”

D&H plans to have Lenovo products stocked and available for purchase on August 21, 2006. D&H makes it easy for resellers to purchase Lenovo products, offering experienced sales representatives, free account set-up and flexible credit terms.
