Lenovo today announced the appointment of industry stalwart Patricia Wilkey to the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager International Sales. In this role, she will lead the company’s Solutions and Services Group (SSG) sales and go-to-market activities in the Asia Pacific, EMEA, North America, and Latin America regions.

Wilkey joins Lenovo from DXC Technology, where she spent seven years in senior leadership roles, most recently as General Manager, Worldwide Microsoft Practice, leading the firm’s consulting, operations, sales, research and development teams. Before this, she was General Manager of the Worldwide Azure Practice, Global Chief Strategist and Cloud Evangelist. She has also held senior services and financial leadership positions at HPE Enterprise Services and Electronic Data Systems.

Reporting to Ken Wong, Executive Vice President and President, Lenovo Solutions and Services Group, Wilkey will oversee direct and indirect sales of Lenovo’s expanding portfolio of AI-enabled offerings, including Digital Workplace Solutions, Hybrid Cloud Solutions, Sustainability Solutions, and AI Vertical Solutions, as well as Global Product Services and as a service (aaS) offerings including Lenovo TruScale Device and Infrastructure as a Service.

Ken Wong, Executive Vice President and President, Lenovo Solutions & Services Group said: “I am very pleased to welcome Patricia to Lenovo in this critical role. Her deep understanding of the services industry, extensive experience, and proven leadership in global sales and strategic development roles will be invaluable as we work to bring the full power of our AI-enabled solutions and services to our customers on their digital transformation journeys. I am confident that her wealth of expertise and strategic vision will drive our success to new heights.”

The appointment of Patrica Wilkey to Lenovo’s senior ranks comes at a key time in the company’s transformation journey, as Lenovo continues its drive to increase its non-hardware-tied business and focus on enriching its solutions portfolio with innovative AI-enabled offerings and services.

“This is an exciting time for the tech industry, particularly with the rapid advancements in AI, and I am thrilled to be joining Lenovo. I look forward to driving further growth of Lenovo’s Solutions and Services Business and to bringing to market the latest in AI-enabled solutions,” Wilkey commented.

Wilkey succeeds Lenovo’s outgoing Senior Vice President and General Manager of SSG International Sales, Yu Jie, who retires at the end of June 2024 and who has played a key role in advancing Lenovo’s services-led transformation during her ten-year tenure at the company.
