Hong Kong – January 22, 2020 – Lenovo has been named among FORTUNE Magazine’s World’s Most Admired Companies. The list ranks global companies from 52 different industries, with revenues of $10 billion or more. Among the 15 companies in the ‘computer industry’ sub category, Lenovo was one of the eight companies recognized as “Most Admired” scoring particularly well for the company’s quality of management and global competitiveness.
FORTUNE’s methodology identifies the companies with the highest revenue in each industry from a list of the 1,000 largest U.S. companies together with Fortune’s Global 500 non-U.S. companies with revenues above $10 billion. To determine the most-admired companies in 52 industries, executives, directors, and analysts are asked to rate enterprises in their own industry across nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent.
