Davos, 21 January 2020 – At the World Economic Forum 2020, Lenovo Chairman and CEO Yang Yuanqing signed the Valuable 500 commitment, a global movement that puts disability inclusion on the business leadership agenda. The aim is for 500 of the most influential business leaders around the world to come together to ignite systemic change and unlock the business, social and economic value of people living with disabilities. Together these 500 business leaders will drive the inclusion revolution.
In 2020, Lenovo will commit as part of the Valuable 500 to:
- Increasing the representation of diverse ambassadors and communities in the design process of Lenovo products – seeing inclusion as an opportunity for innovation.
- Using the company’s scale and global presence to give a platform and voice to others so that together we raise awareness and champion inclusivity.
- Driving ambitious goals and targets for the business around Diversity and Inclusion in all its forms.
